You are welcomed by our guide at Tan Son Nhat airport and then be transferred to our centrally located hotel. This evening we get to know our tour guide and fellow travelers during a tour briefing over drinks. Take a fascinating boat trip along the Saigon River to enjoy the great food and exciting atmosphere of Ho Chi Minh City's nightlife.
We begin our Saigon experience with an orientation walk, visiting some of the city's historic landmarks. then city tour takes in the city's bustling Chinatown and begins with a visit to the Thien Hau Temple, from where you will take a cyclo ride; the most appropriate and unusual way to explore Cholon, literally meaning 'big market'. The ride will take you to the lively Binh Tay Market. Then visit a lacquer ware factory to witness workers continuing a Vietnamese ancestral tradition. After lunch visit the War Museum and the former Presidential Palace, from there on you will go on foot (the car will be available at all times) to visit the major sights of colonial Ho Chi Minh City: the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall. After this historical visit, enjoy some wonderful ice cream at Fanny's, a quaint little parlor with a French atmosphere, before exploring the trendy boutiques on Ton That Thiep Street
Drive a long way on the country side of Vietnam to Tay Ninh, 100 km from Ho Chi Minh city. On arrival to the head quarter of Cao Dai religious, you will have a chance to witness the daily ceremony at Cao Dai Holy See, and meet followers come to attend the ceremony wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism, Christianity and Buddhism. Having lunch at a local restaurant then continue the trip to Cu Chi, visit the incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence
This Mekong Delta trip provides you a look at varieties of the life and scenery on the Mekong river itself as well as on the bank of the river. Start the trip by a drive to Vinh Long, which on the way is green/yellow rice paddy fields stretching towards the horizon. On arrival, you will embark a boat for cruising the Mekong river with a passing floating Cai Be market. Along the river is more exploring the local life, farmer and handicraft productions. The boat continues toward Can Tho, you will have a chance enjoy sunset on the way to Can Tho. Overnight at lovely hotel, right by the Mekong river..
Fresh air and the country sounds of the Delta coming to life for another day, we breakfast and start our trip with a boat cruise along the endless waterway of Mighty Mekong River to the Cairang and Phongdien biggest floating markets in the Mekong Delta. there is a bridge here that serves as a great vantage point for photography. There will be hundreds of boats loaded with fruits, vegetables and fish jostling for trade.. then take a drive to Chau Doc. Stop on the way at Stork Garden where we come to view the thousands of storks that reside here.
Overnight at ChauDoc hotel perched on the banks of the Bassac River and is near the Cambodia border.
Today after breakfast, We do a soft walk to Sam mountain . Climbing the peak is , of course, the highlight of a visit to Sam mountain. The views from the top are spectacular and overlooking The Cambodia. we then be tranferred to Rach Gia pier where we take our speed boat to Phu Quoc island, Upon arrive at Phu Quoc Island, transfer to a hotel near the beach. Relax for the rest of the day
